1. Purpose

This SOP covers the process that needs to be followed when a customer wants to receive or no longer receive marketing emails or SMS’s.


2. Procedure

Step 1 -  Update preferences


1.1) Advise the customer that we are unable to change their preferences, but we can assist them in making the change themselves.

1.2) Guide the customer to click on the “Unsubscribe from Newsletter” link. This link can be located on any JDS newsletter.


NB. Please note that this will not affect transactional comms sent to the customer.



Note:

  • This SOP is a living document and should be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • All employees involved in the process should be familiar with and adhere to this SOP.
